Tide me over till s4 controller.
Tide me over till s4 controller. Posted on: 22.06.2011 by Chong Ram Hey getting bored of saving for my s4 so looking for something to tide me over till i can afford it.I'm looking for a cheap midi controller for use with traktor pro 2, ideally oldish so i can get it off ebay 2nd hand. Only things i need are two volume faders, crossfader and eq for both. Also must have a soundcard inbuilt for headphone cueing and output. Was inclined towards a bcd3000 again but i'm running vista and even with asio4all it's still massively dodgey getting the drivers to work with any kind of stability. Literally anything with a 2 channel soundcard, and basic mixing capability will do. Thanks in advance. | |

Mariano Godina 24.06.2011 | Maybe as a total alternative you could look at the novation Twitch? |
Chasidy Heckenbach 24.06.2011 | if you want cheap as chips for a really temp solution there's always the old hercules mk2. the buttons are rather crappy but i find the eq's and faders ok to use. plus they're pretty old so you'd be able to flog it on afterwards for what you paid - which won't be very much to start with |
Barton Rigazio 23.06.2011 | Hey hey! I've got what you need! I have a perfect X-Session Pro (absolute mint condition) that I've grown out of and an M-Audio Connectiv as soundcard. I just bought a DDM4000 so I don't need the X-Session any more. It's a beautiful simple midi mixer/controller. I'm looking to sell both the X-SP and Connectiv (along with a Trigger Finger if you'd like) to save up for either the Twitch/mc6000/or midi-fighter pro. The Connectiv works flawlessly as a soundcard with Traktor (I have it because I started out on Torq). Only thing is that I'm studying abroad in the Carribbean right now and have the mixer and soundcard here. I will be flying back to Cali in beginning of August. I can look into shipping from here if you'd like! If not, and you're still looking for stuff come August, let me know and the offer will still be there. Let me know if you're interested! |

Corey Tronchin 23.06.2011 | getting something while saving for an S4 doesn't make sence to me seeing it'll take quite a big chunk of the budget away. Still, if you're really setting through I would suggest a second hand VCI 100, since they're really cheap to get and a second hand audio 2dj, which has long lasting value since it always comes in handy to have a highly portable soundcard of that quality laying around in the future. |
