Touchstrip to midi
Posted on: 27.07.2011 by Dino Hapgood
Hey guys just wondering if this is at all possible:

I have a touchstrip on my laptop that I wanted to use to seek position in a track. I know i probably have to use some sort of translator to get this to work but I can't quite figure out how.

How do I capture the action of using the touch strip (in say, bomes) and translate that properly to midi so that it can be used in traktor?

Thanks,
Frank

if its a hid device then glovepie might work - works fine with joysticks etc - all depends on what 'type' of device the touchstrip is seen as in the system - i have no clue. if like a one directions mouse or joystick then should work.
