Kontrol X1 self Repair
Posted on: 23.08.2011 by Pilar Maure
I have an issue with one of my X1's. Namely the Right FX1 button sticking and unresponsive until you press it hard to the left side of it.

Has anybody opened up one? or have any hint's as to how to go about repairing it?

I mentioned it as a more of a reference to other's. Living in Jakarta and purchasing it in UK would mean a hell of a long shot for repairs. Not to mention length of time a way for what is essentially a sticky button.

I can bear it.

So pretty sealed? Any idea if there's any factory manuals out there? cannot seem to see any.

Dismantling / reassembly completed. Pretty simple, just had to remember about the screw behind the NI sticker.

Tested without the enclosure e.g PCB only. Look's as though the switch is faulty as pressing it had to be done on a certain angle to activate it. Looking at the Ni website for details of any warranties. Non found so far.

Look's as though I need to find someone with soldering skill's better than mine to replace it.
