It's a complete system! the new version has the size of a usb thumbdrive it will cost around $25 and is already in production phase, Now imagine the posibilities if we could port Traktor or any decent DJ software to ARM devices.

i believe it looks fantastic - pretty sure i remember seeing a youtube video about it a while ago.

that + a touchscreen + coding must surely be a good brain for a custom all-in-one controller running something like traktor onboard... maybe if mixxx gets good enough it might be a viable alternative to traktor on that?

For embedded deck controllers or perhaps embedded mixers with traktor style effects it has serious potential Stanton 4dj kinda things with software built in.

Wow. That thing is pretty impressive. I'll probably pick one of these up (w/ internet) when they become available.

The price on this can/will change things for people who can't currently afford a computer. While I don't know if they will be able to do many CPU intensive tasks, the vast majority of computer users only utilize basic functions and this is an AMAZING price to be able to access that.

I doubt it will have any impact on DJing other that for community browsing, but hell, it could revolutionize people being able to have computers, and being able to bring your computer with you anywhere. As cloud computing becomes more prevalent, just having the box to log onto a server somewhere is going to be more of the norm in the business world.

The future is now I guess.
