Volume LEDs for VCI 100

Would it be possible to buy led volumes and cut them into my VCI-100? Like you get on a mixer, basically to tell me if i'm going into the red...

I've googled but to no avail. I vaguely remember seeing someone do it..

you could map an LED to the clipping on your VCI, i had that on a former mapping, came in quite handy from time to time!
Nice, how did you do that if you don't mind me asking? Basically i just want to know if i'm going into the red on internal mode.

I'm using the SE mapping so a lot of the buttons are used up but i suppose nay could just start flashing when i go in the red...

What would you suggest?
