Mixtrack jog mapping question
Posted on: 26.10.2011 by Patrica Giancaterino
Hey djtt, just got my mixtrack last week and I love it. My only question is about the jog wheels. Aren't they supposed to (in scratch mode) me scratch on top, pitch on the side? If so, is this a mapping or hardware issue? Thanks in advance for the help!

It's actually the default mapping with a few changes. You should backup your settings and then delete the overlapping commands in this mapping and your main mapping, i.e. The controls mapped to the same functions. If you want only the jog wheel fix, I can upload a TSI file for you.

Just what Zhao mentioned in the first post: In scratch mode, the top of the Mixtrack jog wheels scratch, while the sides of them pitch bend.

Alright, I hope this works for you guys. Sorry for the late reply, I've been waiting on a USB hub and just got it today.

Import this TSI by going to Preferences -> Add... -> Import...
Not the big "Import" button because this TSI is just the controller mapping.

The default mapping for the Mixtrack is a bit strange. Yes, you should be able to pitch bend on the sides and scratch on top. I'll upload a modified version of the default mapping that'll do this later.
