How to get the LED pads to stay on...LPD8? Posted on: 15.11.2011 by Chassidy Popwell I've looked everywhere and does anyone know how to keep the LED's on the pads turned when it is pressed (toggle) on traktor?I have programmed it so the pads and pots work, and put an output on the LED, however, it just flashes when pressed. The toggle of the button works, but the LED wont say on until re-pressed. Anyone know how to fix this? Cheers | |

Chasidy Heckenbach 18.11.2011 | you need to make sure that only one of either traktor or the lpd8 is set to toggle mode. so usually you'd set the controller to hold/momentary and then traktor to toggle the lpd8 has an issue tho... in that in hold mode the pad led will *always* turn off when u release it - so u need traktor to send another 'on' message once u release. this can maybe be done by adding an 'out' with invert checked? i haven't tried it myself. i always set both my controllers and traktor to 'hold' mode and then let my midimasher app sit between them and implement any toggle behaviour, which then ensures that the two stay i sync and that the led's stay on when they're supposed to. there's an lpd8 config included with midimasher if u wanted to try it out. |
Chassidy Popwell 15.11.2011 | Spot on! So I set the toggle & hold settings (for the actual button function) in traktor. But the LED in editor. If I remember correctly. There's toggle and momentary under where you set the CC. Is this where I'm changing it to hold? |
Veda Zarella 15.11.2011 | In your LPD8 Editor, you can choose between Toggle/Hold for each button. When Toggle is selected, it will flash once you press it. When Hold is selected, it will stay on when you push once, and go out when you push the next time. LPD8 Editor is what you need to look at |
