better fader in apc40?
Posted on: 23.11.2011 by Ada Matzkin
so im lovin my apc40, the only thing id change about it is to put a magnetic fader, or something more scratch worthy than the fader that comes in it. has anyone modded an apc40 with an innofader or anything like that , if so did you get good results?

atm im stuck switching out my apc( which sits mixer fashion between my decks) for my rane ttm56 when i want to cut. it would really be nice to turn my apc into a scratch mixer :P

I've read that the innofader will fit with some custom housing for the APC40.

hmmm wonder about the pro x fade?

or an externally mounted innofader?

idk but i want to be able to cut, and use my apc.

innofader won't fit. I'd look into getting something like the VCI-100 replacement fader. It's no innofader but it's better than what's in the APC, and it will probably fit. Not sure how the curve adjustment is connected though or if you can get that with the replacement fader.
