Hey,
I am fairly new to this and I wanted to know if I made a mistake by ordering two X1 Kontrollers.

if i had two i'd probably map one more as a traditional mixer plus transport controls and the other for effects. depends if u intend to use them with other controllers or just both of those. two x1's would make for a nice setup by themselves i reckon. personally i'd have waited for the a&h k2 tho - and maybe got one x1 and one k2 - or just two k2's

25.11.2011		I believe you should stick to the default mappings in the beginning and only alter them if you NEED something extra (this way you will save yourself a few headaches).

25.11.2011		You can have an endless amount of possibilities. Find what "functions" you are missing after getting acquainted with the first x1 and build the second to suit your needs. I am currently in the same process. I am believeing of 3 track decks and a sample/effects deck on the last "channel".

25.11.2011		That's totally up to you. I say, play with one for now seeing as you have mapped it to 4 decks. If you find that you aren't using the other 2 decks as much, problem solved. If you find that you use all 4 and are switching back and forth too much, get 2. Or, if you have the disposable $$$ for it, buy another. No need to suppress the RGAS.
