Is the Korg nanoPad really that bad?
Posted on: 04.01.2012 by Molly Moszer
I was believeing about buying a korg nonoPad (the original, not the nanoPad2) because it's pretty cheap and I'd love to have some more pads but I was wondering if it's worth the buy, I mean I understand it is cheap for a reason but a lot of reviews I've read say that it doesn't even last two weeks which seems ridiculous to me. Is it really that bad, or is that just a few isolated circumstances. I'd love to buy one but not if it's going to last me two weeks. Are there any other alternatives I should look into that are just as cheap?

wait till after namm, numark own akai or maybe its the other way around, but they have shown a numark pad controller that is exactly the same as the lpd8 but made of steel, there is probably a good chance that the knobs are screwed to the body and not just plastic knobs mounted on the pcb, And hopefully they have fixed the note off message the pads send in the hardware, so the leds are fuly software controllable.. I'll see if I can find a picture

found it.. It was shown at bpm 2011

Oh damn, alright, I'll take a look at the lpd8, does anyone know of any other good, somewhat inexpensive pad tools?

I don't know about weeks, but most of the people i know had theirs die in less than 6 monts, I sold mine before it did. Play it safe, go for the lpd8.
