was able to fit Pio DJM800 Rotary into DJM900 question :)

Hey guys I have a quick question for any guys here that are tech guys and may know "volume controls"... The DJM800 has a rotary kit which I own, The DJM900 does not offer it unfortunately yet I was able to get the wiring done properly so I can use the rotary knob in place of the upfader on the 900, My question is, Could this cause future damage or if it works, it works? I want to go all out on the mod and fully install the rotary but am afraid it may cause future issues, not sure if a volume control type is irrelevant in mixers or stereos, Thank you

I did measure the resistance between the 800 faders and 900 fader and they are VERY close,

8000 (full ON) - 2000 (OFF) on the 900 fader
13000 (full ON) - 2000 (OFF) - on the 800

Again, just not sure if that little of full on resistance can damage anything in the mixer
