Alfredo Tooher 20.02.2012 | certainly wouldn't sell my 2000's for them, i am sure out of the box they will be a bit buggy as most gear is now a days, no matter what company releases it. The only thing it has I like is a spinning platter, but no HID support and buttons to pitch bend still, no thanks. there only hope in the pitch bend area is if you can finally drag on the platter like you would a Tech1200, we all know you can't do that on the 3700 so not sure if there new platter motor design thingy allows that now |

I firmly believe if they had brought out a CDJ type player of any sort within 3 years of the 500 MK1 beging released they would have nailed it and been in the throne Pioneer now hold... instead we got the 2500f and freaking dual minidisc players and mixers with a cd stuck to the top ... grrr |
Shalon Jaranilla 20.02.2012 | Like the ipad idea too, but now just wait what pioneer has up there sleeves with their cdj2000 nexus. As i understand it correct, you can connect an external harddrive to an player. use a router to connect the players and the ipad with engine software (or laptop) and use it to control the external harddrive for track selection and crate digging. if your ipad fails just use the usb button on the deck and use the deck for track selection. Still not sure where the bpm sync button on the player comes in and if engine software is gonna play a roll with this. Ipad screen will be hell of a lot better than the small screens for browsing and searching on a cdj2000, and it gives you a reason to buy an ipad without having to explain the wife why you bought this extra toy. The technics 1210 setting is clever to. Seems NI is again not supporting this deck with HID. Serato will be again with Hybrid mode the great news is this time the players will have Led support. So if you are a serato DJ This could be a great player. If you turn up in to a club you can use the cdj 2000 with your box and at home or playing out with your own decks, this will be a hell of a lot cheaper. So maybe the next Ipad will be powerful enough to support serato then you would have an all in one package. 999 map price so probably 899 and 850 street price. The thing is, when you buy denon you always feel maybe i should have bought pioneer, even denon has great ideas and good players. Pioneer always follow up. Don't know if that will still be the case after pioneers new update |

Rolanda Clodfelder 20.02.2012 | Look like freaking awesome players, network function is very cool as is the ipad App idea, would make switching laptops around between jocks very simple I'm Guessing, e.g. new laptop plugs into the hub and just fires up the same software, sees the devices and drag to a free one in the list - gorgeous! But alot of the cool features are unfortunately based on the deck being "industry standard" and installed in most venues you'd play at.. its a shame that they cant use an open platform for music management, the software features really only makes sense if you own a pair or Denon manage to steal the crown from Pioneer. Technics vs Vestax anyone I've yet to see any Denon units actually installed anywhere despite them being (IMHO) a much superior deck And wheres my transpose knob !! |
Shalon Jaranilla 20.02.2012 | Oh, and a dedicated bpm sync button on the player, how will there software handle this feature?. Now, just some colored waveforms with the ipad app. Think the software is made by RPM, because denon always promotes it for the 3700 players. |
Lacey Volkert 20.02.2012 | It seems the same as the previous one.. I dont see any differences besides look |

Shalon Jaranilla 20.02.2012 | First info about new player. http://www.dm-pro.eu/en/denondj/prod...dj-controller/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgLMR...layer_embedded |
Shalon Jaranilla 17.02.2012 | Denon announced that monday morning, the ins and outs will be revealed of their new deck. So they probably wanna jump into it before pioneer reveals their rumoured update on the cdj 2000. |
Tillie Sliman 13.10.2011 | I'd be very interested in them, right now I'm tempted to buy a pair of SC2000's but would definitely pay more for more features. |
Dana Ordinario 12.10.2011 | There's a market for a well built MIDI controller with moving platters. Yes this wouldn't be the first one on the market but I have always loved Denon's products. They are well built and intuitive in design. They are not the best of the best but they are reliable. |

Rolanda Clodfelder 11.10.2011 | MC3000 :-O ... tasty Looks like everyones jumping on board with a 2ch version of 4ch controllers, S2, VMS2 .. now this. |
Erich Fearday 10.10.2011 | I love my 3700s so i would be tempted to trade them in as i Very rarely play CDs |
Kayce Mesia 10.10.2011 | More similar to Stanton's SCS.1D: http://www.stantondj.com/stanton-con...s/system1.html |
Dana Ordinario 09.10.2011 | It would compare it more to a Numark V7 as it doesn't look like it has a CD slot but like the OP said it's hard to see. |

Dana Ordinario 09.10.2011 | I'm believeing it's a MIDI controller with a moving platter that would be useable for Traktor. If that's the case I would consider getting one as I love to have that tactile feedback and control. That's if the price was reasonable. Knowing Denon I would guess 700$ for a single unit. I could be totally wrong though but thanks for the post I thought I was out of things to lust after since BPM. |
