Live Setup Help!
Live Setup Help! Posted on: 02.03.2012 by Lu Fugleberg Hi,I'm a producer for a very long period of time. I focused mainly on producing music for other people, now i started releasing my own tunes under my own aliases. And i got a very good feedback, labels etc.etc. Now i started getting a lot of booking proposals, but i was never really a dj. I thought, now it's probably too late to start with vinyl... So I decided to perform more as a live act not a dj. I ordered some stuff this week including: Macbook pro (13) 2,8ghz 750GB NI Maschine Mikro Traktor Kontrol X1 Vater VSAS Safe N Sound Ear Plugs (just in case...LOL) Now i'm believeing about a audio interface maybe one of the Traktor audio ones? and the question for you is - what else am I missing / any other advice ? Cheers, D | |

Fausto Silberstein 02.03.2012 | Dj'ing is a live act especially when people become very creative at how they mix and perform. It really depends on what and how you want to perform, If you want to mix your own music and your remixes live I would choose Ableton live. I use Traktor Scratch Pro for my performances. But don't forget have loads of fun, because if its not fun for you it might not be fun for the crowd :P |
