Delfina Lorimor 24.03.2011 | word, this is my first electrical mod job. Does it matter which side on the arcade button that I connect the first vci wire too? And I place the diode colored band towards the button? Thanks |

Delfina Lorimor 24.03.2011 | the youtube guide has no information on how to precut the diodes.... |
Eileen Hincher 24.03.2011 | it shouldn't matter how deep you cut the wire ends of the diode. just follow the youtube posted guide, it's also somewhere on the djtt main site. i am wondering however if polarity matters at all on the diode. also, is there a better definitive guide anywhere for the arcade mod to the vci?! |
Delfina Lorimor 22.03.2011 | How far do I cut the wiring on the diode? also, when i am cutting the internal wires of the vci, AFTER i cut the ground wire, do it matter where i put the first wire to the arcade button? Thanks |
Hang Postman 02.05.2010 | K thanks, and also, did i hear something about resistors or?... |
Leeanna Ayla 02.05.2010 | Solder, good soldering iron, and shrink tubing. |
Hang Postman 02.05.2010 | Oh yea, would we need any thing else? we just need these diodes, some wire, then buttons? |
Hang Postman 02.05.2010 | So if i buy 1 or i, it will be the same? |

The data sheets for 1N4001 and IN4001 are attached and they look like they could be the same, but I'm not really that smart. Can anyone confirm that before I fry my VCI that's set to arrive Tuesday? |

Leeanna Ayla 30.04.2010 | I bought my IN4001 Micromini Silicon diodes yesterday at Radio Shack and I have lots of wire. Now if all the other stuff will get here I'll be good to go. |
Yahaira Wolensky 30.04.2010 | why do you guys need "kits", just buy some diodes and wire.. solder + shrink wrap if you want to do a nice job, or you can tape it.. The overlays will be here in may, and the buttons + firmware are in the store.. |
Lanny Vanosten 25.04.2010 | I believe the arcade mod kit (wires and all) is no longer available. Something about the final results were not good and people were having too much trouble 'making them work'. you have to do it yourself... BC |
Dorthy Delamar 02.03.2010 | There is no definite date when the DIY arcade kits will be available again. I know the boys at djtt are working hard getting the rest of the arcade controllers out, Ive been emailing them back and forth for months to get an idea when they are gonna sell/ship out the DIY Kits, Get in line like the rest of us and wait patiently |
Ervin Filips 02.03.2010 | The link is dead to the arcade mods... and when will the DIY arcade kit be available again on djtt? Its been quite a while... Reply With Quote |
April Larro 23.02.2010 | nice post, keep up the good work |
Vernon Vanderberg 18.02.2010 | +1 to the list of people waiting for diy kits. Im holding off purchasing the overlays untill the kits are available again. |
Jamila Arensman 18.02.2010 | I too would like to buy this kit as I can mod the unit myself and dont have 850 to spend on a midi controller and would love to support DJTT. can we make this happen please? |
Nu Schadle 03.02.2010 | Arcade mode kit is coming back to sale. I asked this to one of djtt stores salesman. I really looking foward to get one of these on my hands.. |
Elliot Serres 14.01.2010 | Yes is it coming back? Seeing as the link is now gone. It has been awhile. |
