How to check a VCI-100 is working correctly...running diagnostics? Posted on: 16.04.2012 by Charlie Vivo Hi all,Noob here. Recently bought a 2nd hand VCI-100 from ebay. Looked in great condition and is on 1.2 fw, and got it for a decent price. However it was packaged very poorly by the ebayer and it received it in the original flimsy box without any further protection . The only thing cosmetically i can see is dent to one corner of the unit... but upon quick testing things seem ok (only things ive noticed is the jog wheels are a bit squeeky, but it seems this is common, and also i had trouble selecting effects..but believe this is just me still being new to Traktor). However im very new to Traktor and dont know all the ins and outs of what the VCI can do with it.. so dont want to keep something that may fail me a few months down the line when i find out something new with Traktor. Normally i would insist in returning it, but as i got it for a good price I may just ask the seller for a discount for the damage to the corner. Can anyone help? Cheers Is there anyway of doing a diagnostic check on the VCI to check all the buttons/ knobs work? | |

Charlie Vivo 16.04.2012 | Nice one... thanks a lot. I presume if an item works it will skip to the next item to test. Or is there another way to tell if something is faulty? |
