Ok, ive searched the community but cant seem to find a fix for this, i was running the mixtrack with VDJ and it was fine

basically all i want to do is cue up the next track in my heaphones

i haven't a clue how to set this up

this is how ive got it hooked up

M AUDIO AV 40S plugged right in the mixtrack (rca to rca)

mixtrack is plugged into the pc

traktor is open, everything else works fine, just cant get my head round the cueig thing

this is what the audio setting say (sorry about the poor pics)

if anyone could help me sort this that would be great, its really confusing me at the mo

thanks

Never thought of that. That's the one thing I seem to have the most problems with. My USB ports mysteriously stop working with my Mixtrack. Thanks mate!

the batch script is pretty cool quite odd seeing windows7 looking much more like windows95 tho

I do have an unrelated question though. Does anyone know of a bag I can get that will fit the mixtrack?

not sure - i've only tried it on win7 - but it can't do any harm. all it does is disable (or re-enable) services. the command line for that i *believe* is the same on winxp - tho maybe diff service names. whatever it does do or not - all u need to do is run it again and select to enable the services again. it doesn't do anything permanent.

how/why are you using a licensed copy of traktor scratch pro with a mixtrack pro? u must also surely have a NI soundcard?

traktor shouldn't freeze up esp if on a mac. if you're on windows there's a cool batch script that can disable any unwanted services and can make quite a difference, checkout the blog article here: http://www.djranking s.com/2011/08/1...-power-script/

common culprits on windows are stuff like wifi and bluetooth and webcam drivers - always turn them off if possible.

i was running traktor pro on windows 7 without any major issues until quite recently (moved to mac)

yay, ive managed to sort it out, by selecting the mixtrack pro on the ASIO (green icon in toolbar) and setting the first channels to 3 and 4 and the other ones 1 and 2

Thanks for the reply tho!
