HD25s or Westone UM2 IEMs?
HD25s or Westone UM2 IEMs? Posted on: 17.06.2012 by Darcey Kinnett Basically I can get a set of either for about the same price. I know how good the HD25s are and have had a chance to test them out in person. Just wondering if it would be worthwhile buying the UM2s. Has anybody here had experience with them? Do you find them very comfortable? Do they have a tendency to fall out at all?Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers, Harry | |

Vernon Positano 18.06.2012 | I can only speak about the HD25's, which are superb. Super comfy, can be worn for hours, and sound amazing, even when really pushed hard. The other really good point is that every part of them is replacable. Whilst they do also offer a good level of sound protection, in very noisy environments, I have also worn ear plugs to attenuate the sound, with the HD's over the top. If you intend to use these in clubs, the UM2's maybe a better bet, with a pair of industrial ear defenders over the top (see the recent article on tinnitus). |
