Traktor Pro 2 automaticly lighting up leds on my launchpad
Traktor Pro 2 automaticly lighting up leds on my launchpad Posted on: 23.06.2012 by Mirta Follweiler I'm fairly new in the game, and I've begun tweaking hardware and software to get a nice set up, which I'm almost done with (enough to begin using it) except for a strange behaviour where TP2 with the Oxygen 8 mapping from DJTT will light up two of my launchpad buttons. When I start the decks, they begin two shift colour, and this behaviour seems to be because the launchpad and something on TP2s midi-out have the same channel, but I have no idea how to block these midi-messages to go to the launchpad from traktor? I intend to use the launchpad with ableton, so I don't need traktor to even see the launchpad, but I can see no such option. I'm going to read the manual eventually, but was hoping for someone here on the community
to know how to solve this so that I can focus on the basics first instead of delving into some possibly complicated problem-solving. I'm using windows 7, oxygen 25 v3 and a novation launchpad. | |

Leota Dolney 23.06.2012 | In traktor preferences, go to the controller manager and click on the settings for the Oxygen 8 and verify the in and out ports (near top right of controller manager IIRC). If it says "All Ports", change it to just use the Oxygen 8 ports for in and out and see if that fixes it. |
