Different coloured Traktor X1s
Posted on: 28.06.2012 by Elmer Kindinger
Has anyone else got a pair of X1s that don't match?

The first one I brought (brand new) has dark blue colour buttons and it matches the colours on my Maschine but the second one I brought (second hand) has turquoise/light blue colour buttons. I'm not sure if I'm missing an option to change the X1s colours or if I just have two different models...

This is what I was believeing. The settings in Traktor just make them brighter or darker but they still keep the same shade of blue if you know what I mean.

My F1 metal grain is different from both my X1s which is a little annoying

I can also post a few pictures next to Maschine if it helps even more.

Here's a few pictures of both my X1s sitting side by side.

Both X1s are in the exact same mode with the exact same track loaded into each deck.

(Every button is in it's 'dimmed' mode and only the Cue/Rel buttons are activated)

This is how the settings look in Traktor.

Yeah sounds like you've just got your on-state and off-state brightness set at different levels for each x1. go into preferences and the x1 screen and see what they are set to.

I'll take a few pictures later on toevening when it gets darker so you can see the difference.

It's not really a big deal as it helps me when setting up and know what X1 is controlling what deck...

Light blue X1 = Decks A & B
Dark blue X1 (Next to Maschine) = Decks C & D

All the X1s I've seen in my life had the same colors. Try adjusting the brightness.
