For various nerdy reasons I don't plan to use usb sticks to store tracks or engine/rekordbox style software but I am interested in buying CD players and using cue points.

The old CDJ1000 could save cue points to an SD card (and I'm assured the new CDJs can do this as well). Is this the case with denon players?

I believe this is the case from testing out with cds... I use with Traktor.. I believe with USB it is per track though..

Per *DISC*? Seriously? Not per track? :/

Yes, you can. But I believe that if using CD's you only get 4 cue points per disc.
