VCI-100 Joggrips... or any Alternative
Posted on: 18.05.2010 by Paige Makela
I want better pitch bend control on the VCI so getting something like the Joggrips would be nice. I can't seem to find them in the DJTT shop, though. Can someone tell me where I can find them?

I'm also open for alternative suggestions. I'd build something likes this myself but I'm not sure where to find the right materials.

Yeah this is what my research turned up with, too. So is there any kind of material I could use instead for a DYI Joggrip? I'm currently using duck tape cut in the shape of the Grips but I'm not sure if I want to keep it. Especially beacuse it looks a little odd

Chop an old record down to size. Then you have vinyl feel too

Just go to home depot and buy some adhesive rug tape/pads and cut it.

There is this stuff called Gecko Grip (i believe).

Its threaded rubber networked mesh mat kind of stuff.
Its pretty believe and comes on a roll.

I am sure it would work.....but have not personally tried it.

I've used rubberized skateboard deck grip on my laptops for years. Dig in the larger online skate shops and you can still pick it up.
