Help with setup
Posted on: 06.08.2012 by Sharmaine Pellino
Hey DJTT!

Just a quick question about a setup I'd like to do:

DDM400 (for midi with traktor & 4 channels)
Audio 2 DJ for cueing all the 4 channels
X1 for the cuepoints.

Will this work?

Thanks!

You would only need a 8ch soundcard IF you want to use an external mixing setup and the EQ's/effects built into the DDM.

However if you are using the DDM as soley a midi controller no need for the more expensive card, run traktor with internal mixing and control its EQ's with the DDM midi.
I would indeed map the EQ's, faders, ... from the DDM to the EQ in traktor.

The Audio 2 will not be able to handle all four channels. Go with a different sound card and it sounds good to me
