4 Deck Setup Traktor Pro 2.5 + Kontrol F1 + audio 8?
Posted on: 30.05.2012 by Tameka Meneces
Hello Guys,

I'm sure this is prob. a noob question, however i wanted to get my 4 channel set up going since i am getting my F1 next week.

My set up:
Windows 7
Traktor 2.5
DJM-600 Mixer
CDJ 400 - Deck A
CDJ 400 - Deck B
Kontrol X1 - Global
Kontrol F1 - Deck D

obviously i want to have an independent channel for the F1. i use my x1 as samples as well but the A/B volume fader has to be up so i get sound... doesn't work for all transitions

My Question: do i need an extra sound card, or with what i have i can route it somehow to work?

thanks peps.

But that's just too cumbersome for (what I believe) he wants. Trade in the Audio 2 for the Audio 10 and all your problems will be gone.

You are correct. The ddm4000 does not have an internal sound card.

I mean maybe i'm missing something but it only has audio ins and outs - no USB to connect to a computer

Your behringer, it's this >> http://www.behringer.com/fr/Products/DDM4000.aspx ?
It appears to just be a 4 channel mixer. There's no audio interface

If you plug your CDJs into that, and get a simple 2 channel audio interface for traktor you could set up CDJ A/B to mixer chanels 1/2, and traktor on 3/4.

Or you could plug everything into your djm 600 4 channel mixer too.

Why do you have two 4channel mixers?

If you want to use the mixer and all 4 decks, you'll need an external soundcard since the DJM-600 doesn't have a USB soundcard. Look for an Audio 10 while they're still for sale without the whole Scratch package!

Don't you own a mixer or are you mixing internally?
