If you buy an F1, X1, or an NI sound card (which you don't really need with a VCI-400) you'll get a free copy of TPro. The S2 would also be a good choice because you really don't need all four channels starting out. Plus it would help you save some money so you could get some good headphones maybe a midi fighter and spend some money on quality tracks. The Twitch or NI controllers will work fine for what you want. The only real way to tell is to play around with a couple of different controllers and see which you like best.

So what do you guys believe?

Just for clarification and dont take this the wrong way but, if you're 13 and selling stocks, chances are you're spoiled. Also, you saved up your own money? Money your parents gave you right? Riiight...

I don't get why kids are ashamed by being spoiled at 13. Shoot, I wish I was spoiled when I was 13.

I believe the kids smart. He's asking questions and doing research on what would be better instead of just blindly spending money. Personally I believe the best bang for the buck is the VCI-400 You can use it with nothing more than a computer and if you decide you want to add turntables or CDJ's later you can still use it as a standalone mixer.

I've never used a Twitch, I have used an S4 and liked it. I play a lot of deep house and techno. For the most part a $150 monitor from one company will be about as good a a $150 monitor from another company.

So is the twitch good for Progressive house mixing+controllerism with it.....If you go on beatport i like songs similar to the top 5 or 10. Also what is another good enough monitor?

You don't need the rockits starting out, but they are good monitors.

I really like progressive house also, is the twitch a "good" controller for that....or what would be?

They dont have a combo for the twitch unfortunately. What should i add then....Rokkit 5s, AIAIA tm1 studio, stuff in the djtt S4 complete bundle? And how do i learn to beatgrid? Youtube?

You have to beat grid the tracks so the computer knows where the beats are so that it can sync the tracks. I would recommend one of the combo packs from DJTT that comes with good headphones.
