PC Laptop Reco's
PC Laptop Reco's Posted on: 08.10.2012 by Mozell Longland Hello! I am a longtime Mac user, but am looking to purchase a new laptop due to my current MBook aging. Mainly for reasons pertaining to money (and principle), I am contemplating a switch to PC. I used PCs in the past for music prod., and I value the customizability they offer. I would appreciate some sound (no pun) advice on what I should look for with a PC laptop. I intend to continue to use Ableton/Reason/Traktor for music, and would solely dedicate the PC to music (use my Mac for email/porn/etc.). I would also like to step into the realm of video mixing, so any advice for video cards, ram, etc. would be appreciated. Again, don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed using a Mac, but would like to explore alternatives. I'm fairly savvy with technology, so I have no problem piecing together a perfect beast. Thank you! -ElBJ | |
