Making A DIY Controller, need help.
Posted on: 30.09.2012 by Glennis Bischoff
hello DJTT,
ive been really bored with my DJ controllers and turntables as of late... guess im just loosing the fire, but there is still a flame burning, and that is a flame to make a DIY midi controller.

im believeing of using an Arduino UNO as the brain, but i need to fond components to build it with. i need Arcade Buttons, Faders, and drum pads if i can get those... as well as a few knobs and etc. any websites you guys recommend? i'd love to support DJTT for the arcade buttons, but personally, i want the ones with the indent in them, and djtt doesn't carry those.

sparkfun is a popular website, but they dont carry faders or drum pads, and i just cant seem to find a site that carry's faders and such, and maybe arcade buttons that aren't so deep through the surface...

Help me DJTT? this is my first build, and i have no idea where to start.

No it doesn't, and the teensy has more advantages than just MIDI. For example size & price.

Yes it does send midi.

The teensy has code to recognise it as a USB midi device, thats all.
