Esi u46xl
Esi u46xl Posted on: 07.11.2012 by Talia Humbach Hi,I'm a vinyl dj wanting to step into the digital age music wise. I'm looking at an audio interface for this and i am considering the ESI U46XL. The reason I am looking at this one is because it has 3 stereo outs that would go fine with my vestax pmc37pro. And because it's so cheap. Unforunately i heard the headphone output only monitors all the channels at the same time. So you can't select a channel to prelisten. Which is no problem in combination with my mixer. But i would also like to use it on the road with a controller. Anybody have experience with the U46XL? Can you verify this or not? Thnx in advance | |

Brunilda Kora 07.11.2012 | I've got the U46DJ, the predecessor to the XL. Outputs 5 & 6 work as completely separate outs (so you COULD use as a PFL if you wanted to) but in 44.1 kHz mode ONLY. So I assume, as long as you use the interface at it's 44.1kHz setting, you CAN use 5 & 6 as a separate out for monitoring, or for a separate channel om your mixer for a controller... |
