Single Full Range Speaker options Posted on: 03.01.2013 by Else Guffie First off, I want to preface this thread: I am not a mobile DJ and typically when I do play at a private venue I am going to be billing enough to rent a proper PA system.I ran into an issue this past NYE playing a last-minute party as a favor to a friend of mine. It turned out great in the end after a bit of 'fiddling with the HT setup', but I would like to get something that I can use as a backup for these occasions. Really I am after a single full-range mono PA speaker that I can use at house parties (some of them are outdoor) that can be enough for playing Electro House and the usual top 40 / hip-hop hits. A downtown rowhome with no formal dancefloor but mainly played Electro House and Top 40. I am open on price range but would like to keep this to a full range speaker than can deliver enough bass for the EDM track without annoying the neighbors or pushing the speaker saturating the highs/mids in order to deliver a little bass. | |
