Question regarding plugging in an external source to the MC3000 Posted on: 10.01.2013 by Fawn Nerud So the MC3000 can plug in an external source like an ipod into it's controller correct? I've watched and read some reviews regarding the controller and I remember somebody mentioning that you can also plug in a second controller into the MC and using the knob as a sort of crossfader. Has anybody done this or can vouch if that's true? If so, how did it go? | |

| Jack Narva 11.01.2013 | You can have 2 seperate audio sources connected to MC3000, but they are basically just 'thru' channels. Simply the the signal of each input is routed to the main output and bypasses the channel eq/mixer. There is ONE knob to control the level of the signal passed to the main output (both input signals are summed) and also one knob to control the level balance between the 2 inputs. Not really practical for mixing, its purpose is to have "program music" connected & available to use as a ready to go backup (software crash or problems) or like the music before & between sets at a live show. The cool thing is that they also can be utilized as usb audio interface input channels. Hope this helps... |
