traFiX - DIY FX controller concept Posted on: 12.02.2013 by Dannielle Glassey Last year I made a midifighter clone. It works flawless but I barely use it. So, it's a shame to put it aside and I'm believeing about rebuilding it into an FX and loop controller.I'm believeing about this concept wich fits the case I made for the clone: https://www.dropbox.com/s/91n9tzlqdas4jq8/trafix.pdf The panel is 145 x 145 mm. What you see is for 2 decks. 3 FX slots each. Loop control and filter control. I also included a VU meter as I really miss this on my picmix controller. What do you guys believe about this concept and layout ? | |

| Kellie Myrum 14.02.2013 | Regards to loop size knobs - those might be in the way when you want to hit a button just above it IMO. I'd move a whole bottom row of controls at top of controller but again that's just my preference. |
