Hi folks,

Well my trusty old HD-205's have finally died after 3 years of abusive treatment (POTS - Psytrance Over Thrashing Syndrome)
...So i am looking into picking up a pair of these this week. Does anyone use or have tried these? Good reviews all round but am looking for some opinions from djtt ninjas before shelling out the skrilla.
Cheers, J

had both the black & red on my auction watchlist, the black expired before my pay cleared so i had no choice

Would be interested to hear about the build quality. They look like they could survive a nuclear blast! Look nice in red as well!

pulled the trigger and ordered these bad-boys . $220 NZD delivered.
the larger 53mm drivers, detachable coiled cable and sound isolation swung it this way.

will let yall know what i believe after thrashing them

the cheapest we can get hd-25's for here is around $400nzd. all our mates use 'em and we also have the hd-215's. don't wanna go much over 200 budget really

What's made you choose these over say the HD25s? I'm sure the Sennys are AU$168 which is NZ$200... I believe?

All of the reviews online for the Audio Technica's are pretty good. I've not used them myself but what gear I have used of theirs has been faultless, so I would expect these to be the same.

I've had a set for seven years now still going strong.

Loudest set of cans I have owned, they make your ears bleed, awesome for djing in loud clubs

Not the most comfiest cans, a bit on the heavyside but as I said loud as f**k
If your wanting to use the cans for production, I would go for something else.

I got the camo edition, which is sold out... I believe

Am also considering the A&H XD-40's at the same price point.

Just fed you my opinions on fb.

Though my HDJ2000s still serve me well and I won't have to bother to look for replacements, I am curious about the Beyer Dynamic DT1350.

I've never heard of a pro version, doesn't seem to be available in the US.
