I just bought a 6 month old Denon DN-X1700 used for 1,000 US dollars this weekend. http://usa.d-mpro.com/us/denondj/pro...700%28DMPro%29 Lovin' it so far. Really smooth, FX sound fantastic, loving the eq's and filters. I know there's some X1600 owners on here, any x1700 owners?

Yup. Right here. DN-X1700 is pretty sweet. I got a barely used one for a song a year ago and just love it. Traktor certified, matrix input, dual FX engines...it's just awesome. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I'm enjoying mine!!!

I'm a bit confused. Why would you want a Korg Zero 8? I figure the only time you would ever touch 8 channels is when you're in a studio or something. That mixer is MASSIVE!

Be aware that the Zero 8 is firewire not USB, and has been discontinued for 3 years, so picking up a new one may be an issue.

Hell yeah. I am gonna buy a new mixer this christmas and the x1700 or the korg zero 8 are at the top of my list.

Yeah, I'm really diggin' the combo. I've had the SC2000's for about 2 years and really enjoy them. Denon is not the best with their midi mapping so I used somebody elses mapping as a starter and remapped the things that I really wanted but they're built like a tank and have pretty much everything I need on the surface to mix tradtionally with no sync or to use sync and get a little nutty with loops and FX.

Geez. 1000 killer deal!

How do you like the DN SC2000s? Reviews looked pretty sweet. Pretty much like using CDJs in HID mode it seems like.

Yup Traktor Scratch certified. Basically like an Audio 8 but can do 96k. I haven't tried 96k yet as I'm pretty happy with 48k with 3 regular decks and one remix but I'm sure I'll give it a go sometime soon just to see if it works ok.

It looks super pretty. Does it have a dedicated i/o audio interface which could be used with DVS?

Ha, Jester. I know you have the x1600, you were one of the reasons I really started looking at the Denon mixers as I really respect your input and your Rubix vs Jester mixes are smooth as "buttah".
