Delena Katherman 04.08.2013 | Well, if you were able to activate it through NI's Service Center with the serial number and it works properly, it's legit. It's really odd that you would find an unactivated version of Traktor Scratch Pro at a Pawn Shop, since that would mean someone purchased it, never used it, then pawned it. Traktor Scratch Pro is just Traktor Pro with the timecode features unlocked. So, it will work just like regular Traktor for you, as you will be using your controller with it (I assume). It wouldn't have made sense for you to spend extra money on the Scratch version for your purposes, but the extra unused functionality won't hurt you considering you found it at a pawn shop. Just be aware that you won't be able to used timecode vinyl/CDJs with it without an NI Traktor Scratch certified mixer. I still believe it's really weird that you just found an unused version of the software anywhere but the internet or a specialty shop. |

Kasandra Netz 27.07.2013 | cheers will give that a whirl. and see what happens. thought id try the tekken fx midi map and got that working fine and the controller. under f1 i only have usermap or midi as options and its set to midi. ....... i know the herc rmx isnt certified but works well regardless |
Delena Katherman 27.07.2013 | How do you plan on using Traktor Scratch Pro without a certified mixer? Or, are you not planning on using time code vinyl? |
Janyce Henningson 27.07.2013 | After you import the other controller tsi's have you checked the in and out ports are correct? I would try delete all mappings from the controller editor (back them up first) then do as you have but double check the in & out ports point to the right controllers. Also in the F1 settings panel you can change between midi mode & NHL mode - not sure which the instant grat uses but possibly could be that needs changing? |
Kasandra Netz 26.07.2013 | sorry i should have been more specific the controller is a hercules rmx and by loosing the controller i meen it no longer controls traktor and when i import the .tsi for my controller i loose the F1 ** and i am using the big import button to load instant grat ** and am using the add>import button to bring back the controllers .tsi. also im not getting the buttons the green/blue colour as per the video i am getting rainbow colours |
Janyce Henningson 26.07.2013 | What do you mean you lose your controller? Which controller? |
