Also sounds like he isn't happy with the "underground" people who stick there noises up at anyone who makes it big, just because they made it big. I have respect for the dude and any one who make a living at any type of art. He is just saying his mind, he has earned it I believe. The sad thing about music is, If you want to make it big, you have to make what the masses want to hear, or make something that is better then what they like. The issue is that by doing this is that everyone else will hate you. This kind of stuff happens in every art form, any type of field. hell, this happens working at a fast food place. People love to hate. I believe, one should be happy with what they are doing and enjoy the ride, no matter how big or little you are. |

Saying that, I have utmost respect for what he's done in the house music scene and questioning who he is shows a certain naivety and lack of knowledge. Even though I despise Guetta's music I can kind of see his point. Having a number one in the pop music charts generates a serious amount of cash for the artist and its VERY easy to sit behind a laptop keyboard and take the piss out of what he does without having to show anything in comparison. |

They didn't just make it overevening and 'poof' they were famous. In fact im sure in the commercial dance music scene it's very cutthroat in terms of staying popular, so for both Guetta and SHM to stay on top for so long is something to be admired, even if you dont like their music. |
