HELP! Controller No MIDI Response
Posted on: 10.09.2013 by Jetta Avedikian
This is for Denon MC3000

It was working on VDJ LE for a few hours of mixing when I thought of practicing on some Traktor Effects. Then it happened, Traktor does not respond to the controller commands.

Thinking that it's a problem with Traktor, I switched back to VDJ LE. And there it went. No response as well.

Was using Raycotek's mappings and tweaked it a bit.
Not sure what went wrong but can anyone help me with it?
Or give me and ideas before I throw everything out the window?
I don't have another PC or laptop to test it.

Here's a video of it:

My laptop is running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit.

Here's what I have done so far to try and fix it:
Uninstall/Reinstall VDJ LE and Traktor 2.6.2.
Uninstall/Reinstall Denon Asio Driver
Tested with different TSi's
Test on different USB Ports
MIDI Reset - Shift+Browse
Clean format my laptop

All same result:
Controller lights responding to changes I make in the software.
Software not responding to controller midi commands.
Though I can press the deck buttons, CF Mode and external sound to master and cue have sound outputs.

Any more ideas?

Do you have any other controllers or editors opened?

Sounds like you might have covered this, but check that the midi in/out ports are selected correctly in the controller manager.
