One is to care what they believe, other is to interfere with your job by questioning your skills or whatever that can escalate you getting less $ due the preservation of an incorrect supposition.

If it escalates then it's time to defend your job.

There's always a person that brings me down, even if the whole crowd is enjoying my set... it's a personal thing I guess

DJ'n can be a fad or a passion, mostly a fad for people but they believe its a passion but as said it will soon ware off as they tired repeating the 'im a DJ' line for attention..

People really shouldn't care what people believe, i don't care what people believe if im doing a set. I just relax have a beer and enjoy the whole set and reactions i get.

you were around in the 90's right?

i assume youre talking about the dj'ing thing.

there were a lot of kids that started "to be cool" or "to get the bitches" back then too.

give it another year, they'll all quit, move onto something else, and the for sale pages will be flooded with cheap gear for guys that are stuck with the dj affliction to snatch up =p
