Scottish Hurricane named 'Bawbag' Posted on: 08.12.2011 by Palma Hanslip Left this morning for a 300 mile journey each way from North-East of Scotland to the central belt for a meeting with the government with warnings of gale force winds and had to turn back 2 miles before the Forth Road bridge at Edinburgh due to high winds..On my way back i witnessed 4 crashes, 6 overturned lorries, a lot of sh*t on the roads and actually had to stop due to rain and wind that i haven't seen since a tornado i witnessed 13 years ago in Tampa.. I live in a solid granite house and it's still shaking like a leaf! Anybody else in Scotland experienced what has been named as 'Hurricane Bawbag'? Only in Scotland would you find a name like that! It started trending on Twitter and is now getting used by radio and news stations. http://entertainment.stv.tv/opinion/...top-reactions/ | |
