Gregory Finely 12.12.2011 | wow I rarely listen to anything on commercial radio when it comes to music, amazed half those DJ's are still around lol, I find listening to pirates or internet stations much more enlightening, or peoples podcasts. nothing surprises me with the BBC, less wages to pay always suits them ;-) |
Evelyn Navarijo 12.12.2011 | Now, I usually really like Skream & Benga, but it is a bit sad to see that they've departed from their original sound into more "brosteppy" stuff. |
Tesha Freudenstein 10.12.2011 | as long as kutski holds his spot i'm happy |
Janyce Henningson 09.12.2011 | Cool, will give them all a listen Toddla T was on Buzzcocks the other week and seems an alright geezer |
Marguerite Salsedo 09.12.2011 | Not surprised to see that Skream and Benga are gonna be doing a show... however I wish they'd get back to their roots with their sound. Friction (who is definitely not a kid, he's been releasing tunes since the late 90's... when I was still a kid lol) is the boss of Shogun Audio which is one of the big Drum & Bass labels so at least all is not lost in that field of things, the tunes on Shogun tend to be top notch and Friction's mixing is incredible. |
Janyce Henningson 09.12.2011 | Haha really - like it |
Leeanna Ayla 09.12.2011 | The ironic part of that is wowza was a term popular in the 50's I believe. |
Janyce Henningson 09.12.2011 | Yeah tis true - Judge Jules is going to be a lawyer! And the legend Gilles Peterson is leaving too They have got loads of young kids with stupid names now:
Skream & Benga, Friction, Toddla T and Charlie Sloth will all host new shows on the station.
Toddla T said: ''Wowza! So happy to have been given the chance to broadcast on Radio 1 every week.
In fact I would never say wowza In fact I don't know what it means |
