Evelyn Navarijo 27.01.2012 | Seems like when everybody was distracted by SOPA/PIPA, a bunch of countries decided to sign ACTA. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8Xg_C2YmG0 |
Pat Chaim 24.01.2012 | isnt the world ending this year as well?!? |
Joselyn Supina 24.01.2012 | SOPA covered more than just stealing/pirating stuff. Say you throw some Michael Jackson in your mix and then throw that up on soundcloud or whatever. The record company can claim you're hurting sales and you go to jail for five years. One year longer than the doctor that killed him. Read the proposal, it's crazy shit. Artistic licensing is thrown out the window and all power lays in the hands of corporations. I'm always confused by republicans that argue for smaller government but then introduce bills that are the exact opposite of that. |

Romelia Stankard 24.01.2012 | There's about to be some massive protests in poland |
Noble Check 24.01.2012 | Well there's still ACTA... which is global and just as bad, if not worse. https://www.eff.org/issues/acta http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Co...rade_Agreement http://www.i-programmer.info/news/81...stoppable.html This one isn't getting near the publicity as the others unfortunately... Already passed in Poland http://www.ajc.com/business/poles-pr...e-1314849.html |
Latoria Kavulich 24.01.2012 | *cough* Obama: "Don't worry, I'll Veto NDAA" *Signs It Anyway When Congress Is In Recess On New Years Day* |
Evelyn Navarijo 24.01.2012 | Just when you thought it was over... |
Dorcas Bassignani 24.01.2012 | On the basis that ths will slowly effect everyone on varying levels, i have deleted my youtube mixes. Out of the 8 vids i had, 2 had terrirtory restrictions and 2 were flagged for matching 3rd party content. So they were blatantly going to be get killed at some point. And if anyone removes my content. It's me. |

Romelia Stankard 20.01.2012 | We're still all fucked and I'm not sure stand a chance against this one. Protecting Children From Online Pornographers Act http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/...r-good/242853/ good luck getting congress to oppose a bill with that title.... Take a wild guess who introduced this one |
Lisa Lochotzki 20.01.2012 | calm before the storm I guess. Bah, time will tell. I really have no idea. |
