I keep getting blue balled :(

Tried getting tickets to see gemini (dubstep) in november: ticketmaster sold me the wrong tickets to a folk band called gemini, no refund

Was going to see rusko this past monday: a minute after I leave my house the show gets sold out

Finally grabbed some tickets to see mord fustang toevening , had a great lineup that had a few progressive house (fav. genre) dj's as well as electro house so basically house music from 8pm to 130am: show got cancelled

How bad of luck is this? I'm starting to believe that the whole edm/rave scene is all a big conspiracy.

Not sure if I'm helping by writing this but Gemini was the worst performance that I paid more then

Also, at least personally, I tend to stay away from a lot of those "bigger" events, and focus more on the "local" stuff being put around. The local events tend to be cheaper, pretty decent with good crews backing them, and it's a great networking opportunity.
Yea that's true, the only problem is that in the area that I live in only dubstep is really played and not that I hate dubstep but it's not my genre of choice. I believe the more clubby, house type music is only at the 21 and over bars which I can't get into yet so I'm somewhat out of luck. Though I've been asking around and there is some trance shows which I'd be interested in seeing but I believe those aren't around until spring.

Thanks for the input man, he's actually coming by in the next couple weeks but I don't plan on seeing him.
