My father was a big named local DJ and my mother often likes me to leave my door open when i'm spinning tunes (yes i still live with my rents). She knows the name of every piece of gear i have and understands why i need to upgrade when i want to upgrade. Also likes to keep up to date with music since i'm a DJ and my sister is a disco dancer. It's pretty awesome.

When I got in my 50 year old Dad's car the other day and he turned it on, BPM on Sirius XM was playing at a pretty loud volume. I was more than pleased.

My mom is the reason I'm into dnb. She was listening to it before I was born haha.

Awesome! My mom is a high school teacher, so she's always asking me to keep her up to date on the latest music trends so she can mess with her students. She even asked me to teach her how to Dougie.

I was reasonably excited by the topic's title until i realized it wasn't a thread on tips for giving old mum and dad the fright of their lives.

For any of you interested, simply sneak into their bedroom during the early evening and hide out in a wardrobe or closet. Once the targets have bedded down for evening , wait for a further 60 minutes and then bust out of your hiding space with as much gusto as you can muster. We suggest arming yourself with air horns, fireworks and perhaps even a lasso. Be sure you have identified all possible exits ahead of time because f&ck me you're gonna need them.
