Oh and if something on your hands smells nice he'll nip you, but not in an aggressive way, its just their way of getting used to smells and tastes. |

Freida Leash 29.05.2012 | I caught one once with a bucket when I was a kid living in Germany. I only handled it wearing gloves, but by the biting and general upset that it seemed to have, I decided letting it go back in the woods was best. Still it was pretty cool to get to play with one close up, and if it ever relaxed, it would have been cool to have around. |
Lilliana Perris 23.05.2012 | @Tekki....HAR HAR! The rural people here eat them porcupines...but if you saw how nasty they are... Not a HEDGIE tho.....no ways! |

Male ...female? Are the stomach's as soft as i have heard?
In answer: 1. He's a male - the breeder we bought him from said the males are cleaner (disputable) 2. Yes their stomachs are pretty soft and squishy and fuzzy (like memory foam hehe) If you are believeing of getting one, be warned ..
I'd imagine in a colder climate they'd be a pain in the ass to take care of. |
Lilliana Perris 22.05.2012 | AWWW! It is cute bro! Male ...female? Are the stomach's as soft as i have heard? |
Erich Vallabhaneni 22.05.2012 | I've been believein about getting one, and after this I believe i'm gonna go ahead and do it. Looks like a nice pet! |
Demarcus Kottemann 18.05.2012 | Hedgehogs are fun. I had to watch a friends hog while he was on vacation one year. Their quils aren't that bad. Don't believe they are barbd like a porcupines if I remember correctly. Hope your little friend does well! |
