Abusive email from another dj Posted on: 07.08.2012 by Bunny Sockel So i sent this kid called dj frankis (kid that dj's at school's and 12 year old's bdays) a email saying i challenge you to a minimal techno mix he responds with "how do you listen to that shitty music. sounds like a fucking jungle! how about no, just because its a shitty genre i wasnt too impresed with transitons tho" I really don't understand this kid bashing one of the biggest genres in dance music and saying im shit when he can't even keep two records in time (watch his youtube videos @dj frankis) | |

Tobi Rabuse 11.08.2012 | Seems you are stooping to his level seeing as though you posted what happened on the Forums. |
Brunilda Kora 09.08.2012 | Also - battle??? Scratch/juggle, do you??? Pfft. |

Looking at the comments on his videos, there are a lot of 11-13 year old djs out there, kinda makes you wonder if djing is really an art that you learn to love and appreciate. Or is it just something that everyone see's on tv and wants to do also. Its sad but right now it has the same feeling of a fad that booms in and wears out. hope iy aint so... |

Lorette Muratalla 07.08.2012 | It was a good story guys.... C'mon!!!! |
Cristian Carmona 07.08.2012 | Ed Paris, I want to dance battle you to Hardcore Techno. |
Vernie Kuam 07.08.2012 | I am so confused by this. and as has been previously stated, what exactly is a "challenge mix?" Who decides who wins? Why did the challenger challenge? |
Lela Umanskaya 07.08.2012 | To the thunder dome! |
Germaine Bernadin 07.08.2012 | Ban Him. Get into Romatic Techno... its the genre for lady boys. |
Jacelyn Turkson 07.08.2012 | Ive usually heard battles, challanges, sound clash, take place in the genre that the two djs specialize in. Scratch battles, both djs are scratch djs, sound clash usually two reggae djs ordubplates sound crews playing dubplates. It would really seem unfair to challange someone to something they dont spin. very uneven battle. Its kinda like having a cook off, but having all vegetarians judges, and only one person cooking tofu chilli we all know whos gonna win by default. but this is me speaking on the situation without knowing the true background of it all |
Noriko Lebowitz 07.08.2012 | What a useless thread. |

Ed this is how this post will benefit the community - more and more 12-15 year olds seem to be joining, and then demanding gigs or satisfaction or attention. This should be an eye opener for everyone to help make sure that this attitude in DJing stops. This is the same kind of attitude that leads to guys not getting off of the decks when they are supposed to, bashing on community s, arrogant PaulyDesqe mindsets and all around douchebaggery. (MYE, not necessarily talking about you, making a general observation) |

Tennie Dornburg 07.08.2012 | not trying to offend, but i find the whole thing childish? lol really? challenging this guy? did he say something bad to u before u challenged him? or are you just hating on him because he is actually getting paid to dj at these kid events? |

Nancey Inderlied 07.08.2012 | Riveting tale, chap! |
Bunny Sockel 07.08.2012 | Also he will not get very far with that attitude if he decides to play in clubs |
