New York or San Fran Posted on: 29.08.2012 by Janyce Henningson After some advice from our Americano brothersI turn 40 next year (yep sad isn't it) and I'm planning a week or so in New York or San Fransisco but can't decide which to visit. I've always wanted to visit both and can't make my mind up - I'm going with the wife so it's not gonna be a lads party trip, more a typical tourist trip - so which should I do and why? | |

Barton Rigazio 06.09.2012 | SF all daaaaaaaaay :-) |
Ema Hoschouer 04.09.2012 | NYC has a lot of places to visit and a lot of shopping so the wife will like it! I believe this is a good choice. |
Hang Postman 03.09.2012 | NYC! thats a great city, youll have fun |
Celine Surico 02.09.2012 | If you have extra time, drive down to Washington DC as well. |
Janyce Henningson 02.09.2012 | Thanks guys... Clear as mud lol I believe NY is gonna be the one. I've always wanted to holiday in Hawaii and the inter-connect for UK is San Fran, so that gives me something to aim for in the future. Like I say it's next summer I'm planning the trip for so I'll ask about clubs and hookers and drugs and stuff nearer the time |
Audrey Pinda 02.09.2012 | I don't like NYC. A variety of reasons, and I've met some great people (MC's, DJ's, and otherwise) from there. But it honestly is a place I go out of my way to avoid. It's expensive (smokes are $13.50 a pack right now in the city), the music is great and they get awesome names in on a regular basis... but it's a different scene down there from what I'm personally used to. I could go into detail, but I'm not going to. I've always wanted to visit SF (my brother might be moving there actually). So my vote is SF Better weather as well, honestly. But I'm from Boston, so I suppose I'm a little biased |
Brooke Cary 29.08.2012 | I'd say NY is more of an experience than SF. You'll probably see more. I enjoy SF a ton, but if you're going for a tourist trip, NY is probably the way to go. Visit the empire state building, see a broadway show. Maybe a Yankee (or Mets) game. Giants are still in preseason, but its fun either way. NY is a great trip for someone whose never been there. |
Ciara Cuttill 29.08.2012 | sf ... if youre going with the wife for a touristy type trip def go to the bay, ny is nice but so crowded and busy ... sf is a touristy area so there is a lot to do ... both areas have public transportation ... i just find sf to be more welcoming than ny |
Celine Surico 29.08.2012 | I say NY as I live in California :-). Both are good. Maybe you should start saving money for a second trip. |
Janyce Henningson 30.08.2012 | lol, don't wanna start an east v west war Meeting the djtt team would be fun though |
Leeanna Ayla 29.08.2012 | DJTT is in San Fran. You could hide in the bushes in front of the office and get paparazzi pictures of Ean eating at Subway. |
Johnetta Olewine 29.08.2012 | West coast vs East Coast. Folks have been killed about that shit. |
