was Dntel, one of my favorite artists from high school! He's the more experimental digital half of The Postal Service, if that helps you know who this guy is. I didn't have high hopes going into this, because his stuff is pretty weird, but his set was just strange and painful to watch. I listened more than watched, but every time I tabbed over to the live window, he was just standing there. Alone. At one point he was drumming his fingers on the bottle in his hand, looking around at the floor. A few awkward looking kids walked up, they had a word, and he motioned towards the mixer in a "oh go ahead, be my guest" kind of fashion, and the kids walked away. It was just dumb. Theres a girl up now, she's wearing a Tibetan head dress and a sheer white gown. She's beginning her set with guided meditation, playing a keyboard... | |

Deangelo Boender 21.11.2012 | Usually BRTV is great, and even artists who are producers first and foremost can sometimes surprise with a good dj set, so I go in with an open mind. But Dntel, it looked like the first time he ever touched cdjs lol |
Chong Mine 21.11.2012 | Sounds bizarre, a lot of djs seem to get bored or start to fidget, see it a lot on getdarker aswell |
Deangelo Boender 20.11.2012 | Update! It appears that Daedelus is playing a set later on, the evening may still be salvaged! |
