It's been a long time coming but the sequel to the classic Deltron 3030 album is finally on the horizon. Before the Gorillaz Dan The Automator, Del, and Damon Alband came together on the first Deltron 3030 album. It wasn't the first hip hop concept album but it spawned a bunch of hip hop alter ego's and it seemed like everyone tried to put out a similar style album. It was a pretty big deal and is still one of my favorite albums. The new album will have a bunch of guests on it but I'm mostly interested to hear Zach De La Rocha on the mic again.
