VCI-400 Ean Golden Edition (Vancouver)

Vci-400 EGE, very new, i would say this has been used for no more than 25 hours, ( bedroom use ) i like it very much, ( i still dont know how to use all the features ) but i can't justify having it, would rather pass this to somebody that will use it, $825 shipping included to canada( $800 if you pick it up in Vancouver, BC ), comes with box, power adaptor and cd driver and again this would be a good deal for Canadians, this was around $1300 after shipping, duties and taxes,

I actually like the VCI-400's layout better, and I do my own traktor mapping so VCI seems a promising choice.
However, being a turntablist makes me value the jogwheel a little bit more. S4 has traktor HID support, hence in theory it should deliver better result than MIDI (Correct me if I'm wrong, and I actually hope I'm wrong...). I've been looking for VCI-400's video for days, but I've yet to see one that can convince me to get the vci. Unkut's video is nice, but too little scratch, too much fx.
Just saying what i've heard not trying to guide you towards the VCI, ask around and keep doing your own research, but issues the i've seen with the S4/2 is the fader or controls not working well anymore, as for the HID, yes you are right, but unless you are going to do some scratching, which i doubt it since you are moving to a controller there should not be anything else that you need with the VCI400SE.

You are right, UPS or FedEX will rip you off, USPS is the best.

Just picked one of these up myself, and anyone who snags this one up will not be disappointed.

Especially if you love to play with mapping, there are so many options. I had an S2 and LDP8 for effects/more consistent filter knobs (S2 uses the notchy gain nob) and was looking at an S4. Once I came across the VCI-400SE, I fell in love and had to get it.

Great deal for someone!

Thanks for the free bump, should be a lot of S4's around for sale, i had one before and it was a very good controller, but seems like they weren't build to last too long, i've seen a few for sale locally and most of them already had some issues.

Yeah, i guess that is a good idea to save on shipping, however DJTT is very good on shipping charges, but you will still have to pay at the border, not sure which fees you can avoid, but taxes is something that you can not get away with in Canada.

It's a company that deals with warehousing and organizes shipments.

Pretty much what you do is order something and put the freight forward company address in the shipping address with your name on it. Normally the forwarder company only charges a few bucks for the service. Then when it's been delivered you drive over the border and pick up your package.

Now the most I've ever brought back has been $400 and they never made me pay any duty but I've had stuff like motorcycle parts to sunglasses and clothes to some accessories from DJTT sent this way. Even if you do have to pay you get hooked up on the shipping where companies will ship free within the USA and it's much faster and cheaper than waiting for UPS or FedEx to bring it through customs for you.

This only works if you and a forwarding company is close enough to make it worth your while.

What do you mean by freight forwarder exactly?

There is no monobag and still not sure if i will be including the TP2, bought it from here, but it is tied to an F1 and apparently you can not register the software without the hardware being registered under your account, the price still be the same.

Hi, yes I would do, send me your cp and I tell you how much it is, also wondering if you have the Traktor program already? Seems like the serial I bought was tied to a controller and can't be registered.

I'm confused. You can buy this thing brand new, straight from DJTT for $899.

Edit: I guess it must cost a hell of a lot more to ship it from DJTT into Canada?
