First Gig - School Dance Tips?
First Gig - School Dance Tips? Posted on: 10.12.2013 by Lucinda Heather So I have gotten pretty good at DJing over the last half a year or so and was looking for my first gig. After some parties for friends sort of fell apart(they never followed through), I have finally booked the middle school dance at my school. I sent the student council a demo mix and they said that they loved it... So I've got it! I am a high schooler so I am not to sure as to what I should play. Maybe top-40 and maybe some house or dubstep? Anyways my main question is have any of you DJed a dance and what are some tips you all can give about them and your first gig in general. P.S. I have read a bunch of articles just looking for some first person tips, and some about dances too. Thanks | |
