Torn between two headphones
Torn between two headphones Posted on: 26.05.2013 by Lanie Priske I have been looking into getting a new pair of headphones and i believe i have finally narrowed her down. Im looking at sol republic tracks HD or Beats by Dre Mixr. the sol republics are $150 and the mixrs are $250. Please leave any advice about which one you would choose and recommend others if you can believe of anything else. Im on a budget of $250 by the way. All responses are appreciated. | |
Shelba Stritzel 26.05.2013 | ...Generally speaking, Beats are aimed at the commercial market - and they sound horrible. For $250, Audio-Technica, Sennheiser, Allen & Heath, hell even Pioneer make higher quality headphones that won't really break your bank. Throw your ears on a few, chances are you'll find something you like within those brands. Let us know how you make out. |
Ulysses Vittetoe 26.05.2013 | Please do not get Beats. You have a solid budget, try some AnH or sennheisers or Pios. |

Doreen Schurle 26.05.2013 | Neither. Anyone mentioning "Beats" on here typically gets a massive laugh out of everyone else on the community
. Sennheiser, Sony, Reloop, Audio Technica, all decent brands that aren't overpriced wank like Beats. |
Latoria Kavulich 26.05.2013 | ATH-M50's and a box of beer with the change from the $250 But seriously, whatever you decide, please don't buy Beats. I saw a review that rated a $50 pair of Sony's higher than the top model. |
Tamela Batara 26.05.2013 | Either of the above. I have the Sennheiser HD25's, and the Allen & Heath XD2-53's. Both are excellent. Was going to get the AIAIAI's too, but figured 3 sets of great headphones would be too much. |
Latoria Kavulich 26.05.2013 | I'm not familiar with the Sol Republic brand, but most here would advise you against buying any Monster products. If you are going to spend upwards of $250 on headphones, i would take some of these suggestions to heart. |
Fannie Ohayre 26.05.2013 | AIAIAI TMA-1s |
Alphonso Deitchman 26.05.2013 | Sennheiser HD 25. |
