Dream Setup?

I want to hear your dream DJ setup !

But lets try to be realistic here and not just say we all want 8 Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexuses!
In reality , for me , I would love to run either a

- 2 Pioneer CDJ 900s + DJM 900 Nexus

or

- Vestax VCI 400 (Ean Golden Edition of course ) + 2 Midi Fighter Pro's !

Let me hear what you gave to say

Currently own a late 2008 Macbook Pro, Xone K2, Kontrol X1, and TMA-1.

Realistically right now I would love a retina macbook pro and a Maschine MK2.

Dream setup:
Xone 92
Audio 8
2x Xone K2
Maschine MK2

I already own my dream setup. I have 2 controllers mapped how I want to use them to get the must fun out of my music.

A reloop digital jockey 2 mapped to do everything including basic jog effects and then a midi fighter spectra for remix decks, cue points, basic navigation, button combo fx and also to display some bad ass lights!

For me its not about the amount of different controllers I can purchase as before I bought my reloop (second hand) I was having just as much fun on a numark omni control (also second hand) but I would like to thank the people that NEED all that latest gear all the time as it means the second hand market is always flooded with 6 month old (basically new) well looked after controllers for half the price

Pretty happy with 1200s and a Rane 62. I wouldn't mind having a Denon MC6000 w/ Serato SL2 mapped for mobile gigs that doesn't require serious mixing.

Sadly I pretty much had my dream setup (for about 3 weeks) but sadly the festival I was putting on had a shortfall of about 300 people and I lost thousands and had to sell *everything* (apart from my old Numark omni and traktor laptop)

was

RMX1000, CDJ2000, CDJ2000Nexus, DJM 2000

my plan was to carry on saving for a 2nd CDJ2000Nexus and then I'd have 3 2000's one of which was still a Mk1 so I'd keep familiar with them for club work.

So, I've decided if I have to start all over again, am gonna get the gorgeous White Pio gear. Yesterday put down a deposit on a White XDJ-AERO to start rebuilding again (gonna be my main for foresable until I can get back on my feet) and means I've also something portable for events where gear is an issue (I did lug my CDJs and the DJM 2000 to one gig and it was quite an upheaval. Sounded amazing though !!!). Ummed and ahhed about the R1 for days but feel if I'm gonna get higher end gear later on, having the AERO makes more sense for being more portable, plus I liked how the Traktor TSI was mapped for if/when want to use that.

So am hoping to save again and get the white RMX1000, and then look out for the DJM 900Nexus/CDJ2000's limited that were in white. BUT, as this is a dream setup, I'm hoping they do a white DJM 2000Nexus/CDJ2000Nexus release at some point as I really loved those when had them in black. Incredible gear and miss it every evening when I get home from work :/

I was finally able to buy my dream setup last week:

-CDJ-2000 Nexus
-CDJ 2000-Nexus
-DJM-900 Nexus

I also have an F1, MidiFighter Spectra and Maschine.

I was debating if the DB4 or DJM2000 were worth it, but I just had to set a limit for myself.

I am in love. Great Kit.

There's a lot to drool over here.... The RMX1000 seems very popular, and I understand why.
My dream....
Top end laptop, with a backlit keyboard, probs a Lenovo, ASUS or MSI one (Although I have got my eye on this badboy atm, not the greatest processor, but 17" screen at 1920*1080 with 8GBs of RAM? Gotta have it. )
Also a laptop stand.

Controller? I guess a Denon MC600, although I hope to get the MC3000 soon, so I may update this choice once I evaluated Denon products a bit more... I would love to get something I can put chroma caps on, but ....

An RMX1000, taking my master output in and outing to the PA, because, yeah.... Awesome. WITH a stand, of course.

Some kickass cans, but can't decide what yet. Any suggestions? They need to be durable, and with clear crisp sound.

My software of choice is VDJ, (don't hate me). I like VDJ due to a) 1 time payment, and that's it, b) VST support c) VDJ-script, which is great for configuring, well, everything. What do I dislike? Well, the stigma is one thing, and the fact that you can't make the browser any bigger, and the text is MASSIVE in anything but 1280*1024.
I am currently giving ONE a go... Will be great if they can work out the bugs and glitches.

I believe that's about it, besides a Midi Fighter Spectra.

Well, there are cases for everything, I like the look of the MAGMA CTRL cases. And that's it. Besides cables. And minions. And "DJ" Pauly D's swag, because damn, HE is the role model for aspiring DJs.

Malyatrax, out.

My xone 62 for a djm900
keep my 1210mk2's and my hd25s.

actually I'd love maschine, and better monitors

realistic "dream" DJ Setup:

DDJ-SX
13" MBP
2x KRK Rokit RP5s
1x KRK Rokit RP10s
1x Lava Lamp
1x "lightning" lamp
A nice table.

All I need is the sub and speaker stands.

I can turn on stuff and play at a moment's notice, and my music is easily sync'd with new purchases made on my desktop with some shell scripts and then managed with iTunes (the new version really sucks, but it performs that funciton okay).

Really, the DDJ-SX is everything I need. There's a lot of stuff on it that I don't use.

The sad things is that I own 2 1200s that just aren't getting use because I don't have the room for them or the budget to buy vinyl. I also own SSL, and really...it's just not worth the effort at this point in my life.

This setup is fun enough.
Same. I'm spending more time restoring my tables than actually DJing. I haven't mixed in forever.

Dream setup:

DJM2000 or Xone DB4 or Denon X1700. Any of the flagship mixers really.
Pair of Yamaha HS80Ms w/ sub
3 CDJ 2000
1 RMX1000 just because it's a dream setup.

Allen & Heath DB4 (Own)
Technics 1210 (x2) (Own x 4)
Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus (next on the shopping list, depending on 900 Nexus spec)
Allen & Heath K2 (Don't own yet, own Reloop Contour)
Pioneer RMX1000 (still to buy)
Sennheiser HD25's (Own) + Allen & Heath XD2-53's (Own)

For Monitors, I guess the Pioneer SDJ08's would be the dream monitors ATM, but would be happy with KRK's.

I suppose a MBP would be okay too, except I hate Apple, so probably just go for a top spec laptop.

I own everything on this list, and I'd prob only add a SL3/4

2 - CDJ2000
2- Technics 1200 M5G
2- Denon SC3900
1 - DJM 900
1- Audio 8
1 - Kontrol X1
multiple headphones - HD 25, HDJ2000, Beats Pro, HD 205
Pretty decent laptop that when I purchased it last year there was nothing commercially available that was as fast

I have a couple of beater 2-channel mixers, but I cant honestly justify owning anymore then what I already have.
